This is a free program to Kodiak residents; however businesses or agencies that generate less than 220 pounds of hazardous waste per month and meet other criteria are eligible to participate in a “tag on” to the HHW event, through a registration process with Clean Harbors. For information on the registration process, please contact the Engineering/Facilities Department at (907) 486-9343.

Residents may also take household hazardous waste to the Landfill during business hours Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., free of charge throughout the year.
